The forum facelift has finally been completed. Most everyone probably noticed the graphics before the skin hit, that is because we could not turn the board offline without taking the main site offline as well. If you see any errors either post in this thread or contact me directly.

Some new things about the skin are the new rank "JustReviews Admin". The two users with this rank are AnimeShogun13 and Colme. Shogun was asked to step in as site director when jacob went AWOL and we have asked him to stay on as site director. Colme has proven to be a good leader for the site. He also edits all reviews before they are live. Congratulations to them both.

Member rank images have also been removed, this allows for new users to more easily recognize staff members (so that they know who to contact with questions). There will be several more changes to the forums that will be made within the next week so keep your eyes peeled....

Quote:
Among one of the most identifiable sub-genres ever discerned is that of dystopian fiction. Serving to fascinate in their depictions of failed and downtrodden societies, false utopias strewn together with webs of lies, or the eventual extremes of political ideologies, dystopian fiction has proven both a successful form of social and political critique as well as an enjoyable diversion. Anime News

The October issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine is announcing on Thursday that production on a new original video anime (OVA) project of Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts has been green-lit. The OVA will be released before the second television anime season, which has been slated for next year.

The first Baka and Test — Summon the Beasts anime television season adapted Kenji Inoue's fantasy romantic comedy light novels, and it aired in Japan from January 6 to March 31. The story centers around Akihisa Yoshii, the "baka" of the title. His magical academy rigidly divides up the student body into classes based on the results of tests. The prodigies are in Class A with reclining seats complete with air conditioning, but Akihisa is in Class F, the lowest rung of the school ladder which is furnished only with low, decrepit tables and worn-out straw tatami mats. Akihisa decides to rally Class F to take on the higher-tiered classes and seize their perks. Class F uses its summoning powers in an all-out battle for school supremacy.

I remember this being fairly popular when it came out, I plan on eventually watching...
